Steven Newdall, Managing Partner
Steven Newdall is our Managing Partner and brings more than 30 years of experience as a Solicitor, specializing in both personal and commercial dispute resolution. He works with clients ranging from individuals to commercial entities of any size.
Throughout his career, he has focused on filing claims against various professionals such as Solicitors, Barristers, Architects, Surveyors, Valuers, and others in the construction industry, while also spending a significant period defending claims, mainly against Solicitors.
His experience extends to handling business disputes, including those involving shareholder claims. Additionally, he has been actively involved in numerous property disputes and cases related to contested Wills and Probate.

I am a Solicitor with over 30 years experience specialising in both personal and commercial Dispute Resolution.
I have spent a large part of my legal career bringing claims against Solicitors. Barristers , Architects , Surveyors , Valuers and other construction professionals. I have also spent a number of years defending claims principally against Solicitors.
In addition to the above I have extensive experience of Business disputes including shareholder claims.
I have acted in many property disputes and a number of claims arising out contested Wills and Probate.

Lucy Wood, Practice Manager
Lucy Wood is our Practice Manager and brings almost 30 years of varied experience to the firm. She is responsible for new client intake, development and maintenance of the firm’s comprehensive Legal Case Management system, Human Resources, IT systems, social media marketing and generally ensuring that business operations run smoothly.
Before joining us, Lucy worked for an FCA-regulated Bank for over 15 years in both the Human Resources and in-house Legal Teams. At the Bank, she dealt with various aspects of HR, employment litigation, commercial property conveyancing, risk & compliance, and corporate project work. Her key achievement was designing, implementing and managing the Banking Group’s whistleblowing framework.
Lucy is a creative thinker and problem-solver with multiple transferrable skills. She particularly enjoys designing and implementing new processes to improve operational efficiency and customer experience, thereby adding value to the business.
Lucy believes that there is a solution to every problem and makes it her mission to support clients and colleagues alike should they happen to arise.
